i loved your liberal meter. i think you guys should have like three mini issues each show where you state your position each one. i think its great to hear not only that two people with a general consensus in their broad political views can have very differing opinions on specific issues. life experiences, exposure to situations, education on specific topics can all have an effect on a persons stance on a topic.
in future episodes... some issues that could be on the liberal meter: gays in the military, female draft, rbst in milk, media censorship (england has much more strict censorship), universal preschool, cloning, stem cell research, ebonics, welfare reform... i also think it would be cool to hear your perspectives after you'd researched some topics that you might not know much about.
overall, you guys rock... i am excited to have this new source of news information and discussion. i also have to say that this was by far my favorite show yet! keep up the excellent podcasting!
